Background:
Wok the Duck is more than a restaurant. It is a much-loved community gathering place — and its site is now proposed for acquisition for a new school.
We support the need for a school. We also believe there is a better site.
Please sign the petition and help us ask the Department for Education to consider an alternative location that protects Wok the Duck and the future of this important community precinct.

We call on the South Australian Government to pause the proposed acquisition of the Aston Hills site and undertake a further assessment of the alternative sites available for the proposed primary school and preschool, with the aim of identifying a site that meets the community’s education needs without displacing Wok the Duck or removing the planned residential, commercial and open-space opportunities within the Aston Hills masterplan.
